Malaysia's Favorite Roasters - Rasamas Restaurant

If you're craving for roasted chicken then you don't have to look further, you can try out Rasamas Chicken Roaster. Rasamas served not just an ordinary grilled chicken because it suits for those who loves Western or Asian flavors. Available in two signature flavors Percik Roaster and Pepper Roaster, you can choose from quarter to whole chicken. Plus the price range is quite cheap and affordable.

Whole Chicken Roaster

What I like about it is how the chicken is marinated with special herbs and spices allowing us to indulge into these true aroma of Malaysian flavors. Besides that, they also serve variety of local and western delights that you can choose if you're not keen on chicken roaster.

Background Of Rasamas

RasaMas Restaurants has been around since 1996 with it's first restaurant in Bukit Jambul, Penang under the brand name Deli Ayamas, which later changed to Rasa Gourmet Restaurants. It's the first Malaysian restaurant concept to sell Roasters with a combination of Asian and Western sides dishes. The name was then changed to Rasa Ayamas Restaurants in 2003 to strengthen it's association with its holding company - Ayamas Food Corporation Sdn Bhd. To ride on the goodwill of the trusted Ayamas brand.

The first Rasa Ayamas flagship restaurant commenced operations in May 2003 at Sunway Pyramid. It offers full table service and is the place where the famous and delicious Ayamas Roasters and a variety of chicken meals can be experienced and savored.

The name change also serves to broaden it's appeal locally by renovating the menu and offering Local and Asian dishes. It is also poised to springboard to overseas market and to be known as a Malaysian brand - hence the name RASAMAS. As June 2016, Rasamas have 9 outlets nationwide which are Klang Valley with 4 outlets, Northern with 2 outlets and East Coast with 3 outlets.

Voting Session

The meals would be incomplete without desserts (who doesn't love desserts right?). We ended the session with Brownie and Ice Cream. The ooze of chocolate flowing on the brownie made this one as my favorite dish beside Assam Laksa.

The event started with a food tasting, followed by voting for favorite dishes session in the end as a feedback from participant bloggers. Eventhough there were lack of seasoning on some of the dishes, it was such a sinful day as I've got to enjoy these delightful food spread.

Happy tummy happy me!
